3 Journal Prompts To Strengthen Your Money Mindset

In this post I wanted to share some of the journal prompts that I love using to strengthen my money mindset:

  1. What does my life look like now that I have the money I’ve been dreaming about?

  2. What was the first thing I did once I got that money?

  3. How does now having more money change my life for the better?

These prompts really work! Here’s why:

When you’re adopting a new money mindset, one of most powerful things you can do is act as if you already have the money you desire.

You’ll notice that these prompts are all in present or past tense. They are intentionally written in this way to get you to imagine your life from this perspective.

By thinking about your life in this way, you’re creating thoughts in your mind that are processed by your subconscious mind as something that is currently happening or already happened.

This is extremely powerful because when your subconscious mind is processing these things, it doesn’t know that they didn’t actually happen yet in your reality.

A quick note about your brain — it has one main goal, which is to keep you safe. It does this by trying to keep you in the same place doing the same things you’ve always done, because it knows those things are safe.

By introducing the reality you want into your brain as something that is currently happening or already happened, your subconscious mind logs these things as safe and will allow them to play out in your life versus working against them to keep you in your current reality.

So grab your journal and let yourself dream — what does your life look like now that you already have this money?

Make sure you write your answers in present or past tense, and allow yourself to really feel into what it felt like to receive this money and how good it felt to do everything you wanted with it.
