Why Are You Arguing For Your Limiting Subconscious Beliefs?

What would happen if you stopped arguing for your limiting subconscious beliefs?

Instead of telling yourself all the reasons you couldn’t, you told yourself all of the reasons you could?

At a logical level, I don’t think we even realize that this is what we’re doing quite a bit of the time.

We become so consumed by our limiting beliefs that we don’t realize that we’re using all of our energy arguing for why they should be true, versus using that same energy to write a new story for ourselves.

This can show up as talking about why something wouldn’t work for you (e.g., you just don’t understand, my situation is different and so I can’t do it) or dismissing ideas without fully hearing or considering them (e.g., this wouldn’t work for me so why bother learning).

This is just one of the ways that the cycle of limiting beliefs perpetuates itself — each time you argue to support your limiting belief, you reinforce that belief a little bit further and it continues to reflect in your reality (i.e., the things you are arguing for stay true).

What if instead you chose to argue for opposite beliefs? Beliefs that were empowering, and allowed you to have what you desire?

What could your life become?

That realization was the turning point for me — once I realized I didn’t have to continue to subscribe to my old ways of thinking, new doors opened and I began to experience the shift that came from transforming my subconscious beliefs.

Next time you catch yourself arguing to support a limiting belief that is keeping you stuck, see if you can make the argument for why the opposite could be true, then continue to argue for that belief until it becomes true.

If you’d like to dive into this even further with respect to your current limiting beliefs about money, I’ve written a 28-page ebook to completely transform your money mindset. Check it out here:
